The obvious conflict, stated plainly. Minnesota Registered Agent.co profits when you choose us, at $99 a year, and this page was built to make that happen. Bizee's pricing is reported here as the company publishes it, verified in July 2026, and we have kept our commentary to how the pricing is shaped rather than how the service performs.
The Bundled Months Are Worth Having
Bizee, known as Incfile until the rebrand, hands new formation customers registered agent coverage at no charge for a window stretching from three months up to twelve, depending on which package tier they bought. This is one of the better offers in the category and we are not going to squint at it. Someone forming a Minnesota LLC through Bizee gets an agent handling their state mail during the months when the business has no revenue and the founder has no bandwidth. Bought separately that coverage costs money. Bundled, it costs nothing. Take it.
What Happens on the Day It Lapses
Standalone service resumes at $149 a year, permanently. The rate is published and easy to find. The expiration date is the harder number, because it varies with your package and your formation date, and three months of runway feels nothing like twelve. Nothing in the offer counts down toward it. The first $149 invoice tends to be the notification.
Fifty dollars separates that from our $99. In any single year the difference is unremarkable, and unremarkable differences are exactly the kind that renew untouched for a decade.

Why You Cannot Simply Take the Seat Yourself
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereThe obvious reaction to a $149 renewal is to drop the vendor and list your own company instead. Minnesota closes that door explicitly. Its change form instructs filers to leave their own entity name off the agent line, since in this state a company is not allowed to serve as its own registered agent. The eligible list is short: someone who resides in Minnesota, or a corporation or LLC either organized under Minnesota law or holding authority to do business in the state.
What you can do, if you are a Minnesota-formed LLC, is name no agent at all. The articles of organization treat the agent as conditional, so NONE is a valid entry provided the company keeps a registered office at an actual Minnesota street address. Foreign entities registered here have no such latitude.
That leaves three honest options rather than two. Pay Bizee's $149. Pay someone less. Or, if you are a domestic LLC willing to have state notices and process arrive at an office with nobody specifically accountable for them, name no agent and keep only the office. We would rather lay all three out than pretend the third does not exist.
What the $99 Includes
A compliant Minnesota business address standing in for yours on the public record. Documents scanned and emailed on arrival rather than batched, with the dashboard available whenever you want to look. Deadline alerts, including the one before December 31, when Minnesota's free annual renewal comes due under the contents rules at Minn. Stat. § 5.34. One item at checkout and one number on the renewal notice, because the $99 does not step up in year two.
Worth adding, since it costs us a sale: Minnesota's annual renewal is genuinely free to file on time, so any package offering to submit it for a fee is charging you for a $0 transaction. Decline it wherever it appears, including in a competitor's cart.
We stop short of cheapest. BetterLegal publishes $90 a year. What we occupy is a place among the lowest flat annual rates Minnesota offers, stated exactly that carefully.
Switching Away From Bizee in Minnesota, Briefly
One filing, the Notice of Change of Registered Office/Registered Agent, at $35 by post or $55 through Minnesota's expedited online and in-person channels. Our change of agent walkthrough has the form, the approval requirement, and the timing.
The only ordering rule that matters: if you are keeping an agent, secure the new one before the notice is filed, since the form will not accept a blank where the successor's name and Minnesota address belong. File, watch for the record to update, then close the Bizee account. Do it inside the free window and the $149 never gets an opportunity to bill.
